Privacy Policy

1. Scope and Company

2. Contact and Quotation Requests

The contact form includes fields for full name, company details, email address, phone number, subject and message; the quotation form includes fields for first name, last name, company details, email address, phone number and message. This information is used to assess your product and technical support needs, respond to your request and contact you.

Please do not include health data, identity documents or other personal data that is not necessary for your request in your message.

The legal grounds on which your data is processed are explained in Section 2 of the Personal Data Protection Notice, the parties to whom it may be transferred in Section 4, and the periods for which it is retained in Section 5.

3. Newsletter

The newsletter field includes your email address and a separate subscription option. The subscription option is not pre-selected. The newsletter is sent to inform you about industry developments, product updates and technical content.

Submitting a contact or quotation request does not mean that you have subscribed to the newsletter. Newsletter subscription is handled separately from those requests. Commercial electronic messages are sent only where the permission or exemption required by applicable legislation exists. To unsubscribe at any time, you may write to info@gatamerk.com.

4. Technical Data and Third-Party Services

Our website runs on the Wix infrastructure and uses Wix form components. Our website also uses Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads tags and the Entangle cookie management component to manage your cookie preferences. Google Tag Manager is a tag management tool; the tags running on the website are described in our Cookie Policy.

For website security and operation, technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, access time, and error and security logs may be processed. Analytics and advertising technologies operate depending on your preferences regarding non-essential cookies.

Social media, WhatsApp and map links on our website may take you to the environment of the relevant service provider. Data processing in those environments is subject to the provider’s own privacy terms and is not under the Company’s control.

The systems of service providers may be located abroad. Information on recipient groups and transfers abroad is provided in Section 4 of the Personal Data Protection Notice.

5. Data Security

The Company takes appropriate technical and administrative measures under Law No. 6698 to prevent unlawful processing of personal data and unauthorized access, and to ensure data security. However, the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed.

6. Retention and Deletion

Your personal data is retained only for the period required by the purpose of processing and provided by applicable legislation. At the end of this period, data for which no valid reason for retention remains is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. 7. Your Rights and Contact

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose; know the recipients to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction where the conditions apply and request that these actions be notified to recipients. You may also object to an outcome against you arising solely from analysis by automated systems, and request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

8. Updates

This policy may be updated in line with changes in our services or data processing activities and legal requirements. The current version is published on this page, and the date of the last update is shown at the bottom of the page.
